I have a passion for helping people be the best they can be and have had an amazing time training as an instructor.

If you’re looking for weight loss, muscle tone, general health, I am a fully qualified personal trainer and pre and post natal specialist.

I am proud of my vast training having passed several courses over the years. I am proud  of all my team, they are all quality trained instructors teaching to the best of their abilities and aim to offer fun, hard, result driven classes every time.

I am qualified in Pilates, Step, Aerobics, GP referral qualified, nutrition qualified, Power stretch , Fit ball, Kangoo Jumps, Boxercise, Cardio Kick box, advanced free weights, body bar, Zumba, Zumba Toning, Zumba Gold, Zumba kids, Kettfusion, Kettle bells, Block fit, Powerhoop, Box hit,Kpopx Fitness, Urban Dance Fitness, Bounce, Kangoo jumps, Rockbox , spin I am  also a proud Herbalife level 10 winning coach and I coach and mentor people . I have over 25 years experience in the fitness industry and I am still learning every day.

I aim to bring you the best classes  first, my motto is if its not fun they wont come.

Pauline Stannard (Instructor)

Pauline is the most senior member of the team. She has a wealth of experience and is the rock of the business.

Nothing is ever too much trouble and she’ll help anyone. Pauline is fully trained in advanced free weight body bar and an amazing fit ball specialist, always a smile and a warm welcome will await you.

Leanne Borrowdale (Instructor)

My name is Leanne and I’m a mother of four so you can imagine life is hectic.

We have 8 dogs and 4 ferrets and we all love being outdoors. I’ve been teaching fitness classes for the past 10 years and that is my passion, my release!!

I love mixing weights and cardio and my motivation is seeing people enjoying exercise.

For me it’s not physical it’s bringing people together and going home happy after a bloody good workout

 

Georgia Mcintyre (Instructor)

Georgia is a trained dancer and black belt in the martial art taekwondo and naturally fell into instructing from there and started teaching dance and combat style classes 7 years ago.

From then, she has evolved and qualified into teaching Aqua Zumba, Zumba step, Pilates, combat, strong by Zumba, Aerobics, Zumba and Zumba Gold to name a few!

Still working as a performer, she actively teaches at many gyms in and around Darlington part time as well as still running her own online workout business for 5 years.

Her friendly, energetic nature makes you feel comfortable and at ease in her classes and before she was a fitness instructor she was a participant so knows exactly how daunting it can be to try a class for the first time but you will be in safe hands with her rest assured!

She is delighted to be currently instructing at First Step 2 Fitness.

Emma Blackmore (Instructor)

Emma has been a Zin Zumba since 2012 and did it part time as a hobby. She then went full time on her own in 2014 and did her gym level 2.

Emma is qualified in Zumba, Zumba Gold, Zumba kids. Boxercise, Blockfit & Hiitstep at the moment.

Dance and boxing is her passion is she is hoping to complete UWCB soon.

Stacey-Leigh (Beauty & Holistic therapist)

My name is Stacey-leigh and I am a fully Qualified Beauty Therapist & Holistic therapist.

I focus on providing a high quality experience within a relaxing environment & I like to make my clients feel welcome and to better their individual needs through out their treatments I have worked as a therapist for several years.

I am qualified in: Massages, Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Facails, Foot treatments, Head massages, Body scrubs, Hot Stone, Manicures, Pedicures, Waxing, spray tan, gel nails, Dip acrylic, strip lashes, individual lashes & I am determined to better myself by taking a challenge on taking up a Diploma in Sports Massage in September. This will give me more knowledge and more help towards helping her clients needs and correct treatments.

I always take pride in my work and love to see the transformation in my clients following a treatment. Therapies are tailored to suit your own unique needs, so that everyone regardless of their situation can rest, relax and feel completely at ease to sit or lay back and just breathe. Allowing you to reduce any stress, tension or anxiety and for a few moments, do something normal!
